No. 2653 Sergeant Leslie Roy Tiptaft, born North Adelaide, South Australia, 23 July 1896. Enlisted 12 September 1914. 1st Australian Depot Unit of Supply. Served Gallipoli and France. Promoted Warrant Officer. Returned to Australia 1918.
