859, Private Cyril Roy Hall

9th Light Horse Regiment AIF

No.859 Private Cyril Roy Hall, born Adelaide, South Australia, 26 February 1893. Enlisted in the 9th Light Horse Regiment at Oaklands, South Australia, on 27 November 1914. Returned to Australia ‘medically unfit’. When charged with having ‘no means of support’ in 1942 Hall was described as having 10 previous convictions. Hall died at the Repatriation Hospital, Springbank, on 15 July 1948.
