Note there is a comment on Mapping Our Anzacs by an unknown stating the following- Not absolutely sure, but I think that this is a photo of my great uncle Pte. Lawrence Bartley 1st Battalion AIF, who was killed in action by a German Barage at Westhoek Ridge on the morning of 4th October, 1917 (Half an hour before zero hour).
