It would appear Mapping our Anzacs staff have made an error with the photograph for either John Doody or 12950 Herbert Doody, as the photograph for each is identical. Email sent 30/09/12 Re this issue. The above photograph may very well be for Herbert Doody!

I noticed on the Anzac Project that Herbert Doody No 12950 is not on the list.
I noticed that there was a mix up of photos between Herbert Doody & John (Jack) Doody.
I have photos to send but they will not send as an attachment on this form??
How am I able to send the photos??

Yes, the photograph here is definitely Herbert Doody NOT John Doody

actually I sent you another couple of emails several weeks ago with a picture taken in London I think during WW 1 that showed John, Herbert and Henry Doody all sitting together so it was easy to see who was who. Also sent a detailed email of Herberts’ History. He was my Grandfather so I have a pretty good idea of what he looked like.
